Our mission

We are not trying to fix healthcare. We are trying to practise it.

ROSKYRO exists so a limited number of families in Indian cities can have a physician who knows them, answers them and shows up in hospital. That is the whole mission. Scale is the enemy of the product.

If that sounds small, good. Medicine that works is usually small.

What we believe

  • Time is part of the treatment. A diagnosis made in twelve minutes is often a guess made politely.
  • Access matters most when it is inconvenient. The test of a physician's number is whether it answers at night, or when you are travelling.
  • Continuity prevents harm. A doctor who knows your history, your medicines and your wishes catches what a stranger would miss.
  • Advocacy is part of the job. When you are admitted, someone who knows you should be in the room.
  • A closed panel is an honest panel. We limit the number of members per physician so that every member is known.

Who we serve

Families who live in Indian cities and want a personal physician. Families who live elsewhere and need someone in the room for a parent. Physicians who want to practise slowly and well, and who need an operations partner to make that possible.

How we measure ourselves

We do not measure ourselves by the number of members. We ask whether each physician knows each member, whether the phone was answered, and whether the family was supported in hospital. If a panel gets too large for that, we shrink it.

Who we are

ROSKYRO was founded around a simple practice on Pali Hill, Mumbai, led by Dr. Ananya Mehta, and run day to day by a small team. Meet the people behind ROSKYRO and our doctors.

Work with us

Families can find a doctor. Physicians can learn about affiliating. If you want to join the team, see careers.
